Preview Results

Once you have reviewed your filters and are confident in the search criteria, you have the option to Preview Results. Here you can see statistic data such as:
Geographical Breakdown Industry Classification Business Tag Frequency Supplier Type Company Size

Generate & Review Results

The next step will be to run your search and review the actual results. Before you do that you can use the filter Toggle to have a better view on the Supplier Company Cards, and select the number of Suppliers that can be displayed in one view.

In order to see more information about the suppliers you can click on the “View details” for each card

Under Company details you can review the following information:

  • Company Summary
  • Company Attributes such as: Supplier type, Main Location, NAICS, contact details
  • Revenue, Founded Year, Employees and how many locations this company has registered activities against
  • Business Tags: Relevant to Keyword search and company profile match
  • Product Description
  • Product Snippet Matched: Relevant to keyword match for accurately identifying products
  • Product page redirect link
  • Social Media profiles and Company website

How do I short list suppliers?

Some searches can yield a high/low number of potential suppliers. Before building your final list we recommend you to:

  • Review Search results and identify any false positives patterns - increase strictness,
  • Make sure you have selected relevant locations - Main/Secondary,
  • Add additional keywords for a better search refinement
  • Exclude irrelevant keywords - eg. while searching for Waste Management Services, we can exclude “Software Providers” for Waste Management
  • Confirm new results.

!! Once you are confident in your search criteria, we advise users to click on the Save Template button.!! This will save all generated Keywords for easy reference in the future.

Once you have confirmed final list, you can either select suppliers one by one, or click on Select All and click on Add to list

  1. Working with Saved Lists

Please note that Saved Lists are only available based on each particular project. That means if you have multiple projects ongoing, like “Waste Management Services”, “Packaging Suppliers”, etc., you will only be able to see suppliers relevant to that particular project.

Once you have navigated to the Saved Lists menu, you will be able to navigate through your lists. On the right hand side you will see the menu options for each of the lists, once you click on the 3 dots. From here you can:

  • View the list - this will open the ScoutPro Company cards view
  • Rename
  • Delete
  • Export .csv file
